The Artist
My name is Lili Jacobsen, but I’m better known locally in my hometown of Bundaberg as Wattle Woman. I am a proud First Nations descendant of the Gubbi Gubbi people.
I’ve been a practicing artist for six years, specialising in sculpting with polymer clay. My work draws deep inspiration from the beauty and power of Australian flora and fauna, and from my mixed Indigenous heritage, which continues to shape my connection to land, culture, and creativity.
Each pair I create holds a piece of my spirit, energy, and story, making every set of handcrafted earrings truly unique and precious. My art is an ongoing journey of reconnection between my hands, mind, and spirit and what you see is the product of that practice.

Material
This pair of earrings is made of polymer clay. The posts are made of surgical-grade stainless steel we also use the same material for our ear nuts and jump rings. Or gold plates hoops, hooks or stud tops in dangles are used.

Inspired by the ocean’s incredible variety of colours, shapes, and textures, this collection celebrates the magic of life beneath the waves. Each piece is hand-sculpted from clay, featuring an array of vibrant corals brought to life on a deep black, glittery background like a reef glowing under sunlight.
Every detail is unique, every colour intentional, a bold, joyful tribute to the beauty and chaos of the sea. The vibrant life of local aquatics, like Monsoon Aquatics, also served as a spark of inspiration for these designs.
