Looking for something creative to do with a group of friends? Want to make your own Earrings for a Special Event? Wattle Woman is now offering Private Workshops for group bookings of 6 to 10 people!

Hi, my name is Lili Jacobsen, but I am better known locally in my hometown of Bundaberg as Wattle Woman. I am a First Nations Person of the Gubbi Gubbi region living on Taribelang, Bailai, Gurang and Gooreng Gooreng country.

I am an artist and for the past three years, I have specialised in polymer clay earrings. I take inspiration from the beauty and power of the Australian Flora and Fauna and also my Indigenous Australian heritage when creating my work.

Each pair that I create, holds a piece of my spirit, energy and story within them which makes all my handcrafted earrings uniquely special and precious. I am passionate about my art and am excited to teach others my techniques, so they can be inspired to try this creative art form.

Join me for a calming workshop either in the garden of my home or yours, where you will create your own custom slab of Australian native flower polymer clay earrings. During this workshop, you will learn the techniques of sculpting a Eucalyptus flower design with the colours of your choice and cut out 3 pairs of unique earring shapes, all while guided by yours truly.

While learning these new skills, you will enjoy sipping on Mocktails, featuring locally sourced ingredients and snacking on your very own individual Grazing Box full of delicious savoury and sweet treats.

At the end of the workshop you can leave the hard part up to me as post-lesson I will cure, sand, buff, assemble and make your created earrings functioning pieces of jewellery. Your earrings will then be delivered to your event venue, 3 days after the workshop.

This workshop is perfect for those interested in trying out polymer clay as a new creative skill or learning and understanding the techniques I incorporate into my work.

This workshop is open to all people in the Bundaberg Region. I am forever determined to create an inclusive creative space. This includes people of all levels of skill, age, gender, experience and cultures.

PRIVATE WORKSHOP PAYMENTS

Private Workshops will be charged as one single amount, the total amount will be determined by the number of tickets required for your event.

Once we receive your confirmation of a private booking a personalised product will become available online for you to purchase your event tickets from. The total amount owing for your Workshop will be separated into 2 payments.

The 1st payment required is a 50% deposit, once this has been paid your date and time will be secured for your event. Once your personalised product has been loaded online, you will have 3 days to pay this deposit before your chosen date and time are released and offered to another private event.

The 2nd payment required is the remaining 50%, this must be paid no later than 14 days prior to your event.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand that some things in life are out of our control, so if you require to make changes to your Private Workshop after deposits or full payments have been paid, I am happy to offer you another workshop for a future date that will suit both you and your guests.

However, to offer these changes, I require a minimum of 7 days notice prior to your original booking date. No changes can be made to events less than 7 days prior to your booked Workshop.

Once Deposits have been paid, no refunds or exchanges will be offered to individual guests that are unable to attend Private Workshops.

Full refunds will only be offered if Wattle Woman can not host the event.
